We can work together to help the Ehlers-Danlos Society reach their goal of raising the $500,000 needed to set up a registry.

As most of you know, I have a rare connective tissue disorder called Ehlers-Danlos. It has now been 3 years since my diagnosis and I am still struggling to find doctors that understand this diagnosis and who are willing to help. The more support groups that I join and the more research that I perform; I realize how little Ehlers-Danlos is understood.

I know last year that I asked for all of you to don you stripes. While I am asking for you to dazzle me with your stripes again, I am also asking that you donate what you can to the Ehlers-Danlos Society to help in raising the funds necessary to start an Ehlers-Danlos registry. The registry will help the medical community in understanding the number of people that are affected by Ehlers-Danlos, but will also assist in the research of Ehlers-Danlos. This event will continue for the month of May and I ask that you post your beautiful selves wearing your stripes to this event page.
