The Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS) are a group of heritable connective tissue disorders that produce a spectrum of complex problems across multiple systems of the body. I have had hEDS and Co conditions for 8 years now, each year brings on new challenges and new struggles in both my body and everyday life with EDS. With such a complex fluctuating illness/ disability, in my world and in others, there is no such thing as adapting; but support, understanding and research can make a big difference in making our worlds a little bit easier and a little bit brighter!
The Ehlers-Danlos Society is a global community dedicated to saving & improving the lives of those affected by the Ehlers-Danlos syndromes, hypermobility spectrum disorders, & related conditions. Our goal is world-wide awareness and better quality of life for all who suffer from these conditions, regardless of geography.
