Dawn DuJour passed away early on the morning of 11/14/19.
She died at home with the love of her life Cheri Lee.
She fought long and hard against a myriad of mysterious life long health problems which turned out to have a hidden common cause: Ehlers-danlos.
Research on this genetic condition is still in the early stages and it desperately underfunded.
It was my mother’s greatest wish that her experience be used to help learn more about this disease.
If you can, please consider donating to help fund much needed research that can help others afflicted with Ehlers-danlos syndrome.
My mother fought long and hard and lived well past the expectations of doctors.
She was a survivor.
She was a wonderful wife and mother.
She was an artist, writer, costumer, songwriter, actor, poet, Mae West and Dolly Parton impersonator, and much much more than could ever be written down in this space.
Please consider honoring her life and her fight by making a gift to The Ehlers-Danlos Society to help improve the lives of all those living with EDS. Your gift is critical to helping them raise awareness and the visibility of Ehlers-Danlos syndromes among the general public, as well as advancing research and improving treatments.
